This notice explains what information is used when you buy and use The Surgeon Consulting Starter Guide at consulting.ehabbadran.com. The course is run by Ehab Badran.
When you buy
Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, payment details and billing country to process the payment and send your receipt. We can see your name, email, country and purchase details in Stripe. We never see your full card details. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the information it processes.
When you open the course
- When your purchase is confirmed, your browser stores a secure access cookie. It contains your email and an expiry date, so the course can open without asking you to log in each time.
- When you log in on a new device, your email and receipt number are checked against your Stripe purchase. They are not stored anywhere else.
- Everything you type into the course tools stays in your own browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us or anyone else.
Other services
The site is hosted by Netlify, and fonts load from Google Fonts. Like any web host, these services process your IP address and basic technical information to deliver the pages.
How long information is kept
Purchase records are kept in Stripe for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. You can delete the access cookie and saved answers at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information held about you. Contact Ehab Badran through ehabbadran.com.
